Today was our last day!! We presented our sideshow!! We had lots of fun and we also did well.If we had to do this again we would make the presentation clearer and fix little mistakes we made in the facts.
Phoebe and Elah did lots of research. Elah talked to Mr. Arnold about what the group has been doing and any ideas he has. Matthew worked on the presentation, and Erik finished the posters for the campaign. We all reviewed each others work and improved it.
What do we need to do as homework? We will all need to do research. Matthew will have to work on the presentation. We will all have to fill in the reflection questions sheet. And Elah will reed over the proposal of using tap water and take notes about it. What will we do next time? Phoebe will make a questionnaire and ask people around the school. Matthew will work on the presentation. Elah will do more research and Erik will do final calculations. Today, Matthew was working on the presentation, Erik worked on a posters that we could put round the school. Phoebe found the average amount and cost of the water n each month so we can compare them to each other. And Phoebe and Elah did lots of research
What do we need to do as home work? Matthew will finish the rough draft of the presentation, Erik will have to finish the posters, and Phoebe and Elah will do more research and send it to Matthew and Erik. What will we do next time? Erik will print the posters and put them around the school. Matthew will start working on the final draft of the presentation, Elah will do more research, and most importantly, Phoebe will think of a campaign and a plan for the things we will do the next few days. Phoebe and Elah finished making the life cycle of 'how water gets to our taps'. Erik made some charts for the average cost and the amount of water used at school. And most importantly Matthew started creating the presentation.
What do we need to do as home work? Phoebe will have to find some facts about Watson's water so we can compare the pros and cons for Watson's water and tap water. Erik will finish the charts and send them to Matthew so he can put them in the presentation. Matthew will keep on editing the presentation, and Elah will find some facts on tap water and create a virtual version of the life cycle. What will we do next time? Next time Matthew will finish a rough draft of the presentation. Phoebe and Elah will find more facts and information. And Erik will find pictures and videos for the presentation, and he and Phoebe will make some posters to put around the school. First of all, Matthew wrote the letter about the tap filters that later on we will send to Mr. Musco. Then Erik learned how to use the excel spreadsheet to use with data collection and he found the average cost of the tap water for this school year. After Phoebe and Elah Started making the life cycle of how water gets to our taps.
What do we need to do as homework? Matthew will finish the letter, get approval from Mr. Arnold and then send it to Mr. Musco. Erik will find out the average amount of tap water for this school year. Phoebe will finish the life cycle poster. And Elah will do some research about the dangers of tap water. What will we do next time? Erik will look at the watsons water bills and copare them to the tap water bills. Matthew and Erik will start making the keynote presentation. Phoebe and Elah will do more research. Today Matthew went to time how many times the toilets flush automatically. Phoebe and Erik found out about 5 different tap filters and how much they cost. And I found out how water gets to our taps, and if tap water could be dangerous and if it could how and why.
What will we do next time? Next time Matthew and Phoebe will write and send Mr. Musco a letter about the tap filters and if we could order them for the school. Erik and I will create a life cycle of how water gets to our taps. And at last we will all look at the tap water and Watsons water bills for 2011. Phoebe and Matthew walked around the school counting the taps in all the bathrooms, so later on we could calculate the cost of water filters. The total amount of taps was 91 taps. After, as a group we all looked through the tap water bills from previous years compared to the watsons water bills. Then we found out tat the toilets flush automatically.
What will we do next time? Next time Matthew will go and find out how many times the toilets flush automatically. Phoebe and Erik will find out about different kinds of tap filters and how much they cost. And Elah will find out how water gets to our taps and is the water safe. -What do you use water for at home?
